一、学校概况University Overview

西华大学始建于1960年，是四川省属重点综合性大学，现有郫都、宜宾、彭州、人南、易三仓（泰国）五个校区，校园面积近4000亩，全日制在校学生3.6万余人，其中硕士研究生近5000人，外国留学生及港澳台学生近300人，专任教师2400余人。学校设有21个学院，获批16个国家一流专业建设点、4个国家级特色专业，9个专业通过工程教育专业认证。拥有10个学科门类，75个本科招生专业，43个硕士学位授权点，5个学科进入ESI全球排名前1%。学校与20余个国家的80余所高校、科研院所以及企业建立合作伙伴关系，积极响应国家一带一路倡议，在泰国易三仓大学建成首个海外校区，与印尼三一一大学共建孔子学院，培养具有国际视野的高素质复合型人才。

Founded in 1960, Xihua University (XHU) is a key comprehensive university under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. It operates across five distinct campuses—Pidu, Yibin, Pengzhou, Rennan, and Assumption University Campus (Thailand)—spanning a total area of nearly 267 hectares. XHU is home to over 36,000 full-time students, including nearly 5,000 master's degree students, nearly 300 international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, all supported by a dedicated faculty of more than 2,400 full-time teachers. XHU comprises 21 schools, featuring 16 national first-class undergraduate programs, 4 national-level specialized majors, and 9 programs fully accredited by international engineering education standards. Covering 10 broad academic disciplines, the university offers 75 undergraduate programs and 43 master's degree programs, with 5 of its disciplines ranking in the top 1% globally according to the Essential Science Indicators (ESI). With a strong commitment to global engagement, XHU has forged strategic partnerships with more than 80 universities, research institutions, and enterprises across over 20 countries. In active response to China's Belt and Road Initiative, XHU established its first overseas campus at Assumption University in Thailand and co-founded a Confucius Institute with Sebelas Maret University in Indonesia, continuously striving to nurture high-quality, versatile talents with a truly global perspective.

2026年国际学生招生层次、招生专业、授课语言、学制等详见招生专业目录（附件1）。

For details on the education level, majors, language of instruction, and duration of study for international students in 2026, please refer to the Admissions Major Directory (Appendix 1).

三、基本申请条件 Basic Application Conditions

（I）对华友好、身心健康、品行端正的非中国籍公民。

Non-Chinese citizens who are friendly to China, physically and mentally healthy, and of good character.

（II）本科项目：已获得高中毕业证书或应届毕业的高中生（应届毕业生须在报到时提交高中毕业证书原件）；硕士项目：已获得学士学位证书或应届毕业的本科生（应届毕业生须在报到时提交学士学位证书原件）。

Undergraduate Program: Applicants must have obtained a high school diploma or be graduating high school students (graduating students must submit the original high school diploma upon registration); Master's Program: Applicants must have obtained a bachelor's degree certificate or be graduating undergraduate students (graduating students must submit the original bachelor's degree certificate upon registration)

（III）语言要求：申请本科项目，中文能力须达到 HSK四级180分或以上；申请中文授课硕士项目，中文能力须达到 HSK五级180分或以上；申请英文授课硕士项目，英语水平须达到IELTS 5.5、TOEFL 70或DUOLINGO 100分或以上。

Language Requirements: For undergraduate programs, Chinese proficiency must reach HSK Level 4 with a score of 180 or above; for Chinese-taught master's programs, Chinese proficiency must reach HSK Level 5 with a score of 180 or above; for English-taught master's programs, English proficiency must reach IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 70, or DUOLINGO 100 or above.

（IV）年龄要求：申请本科项目原则上不超过 30 岁；申请硕士项目原则上不超过35岁。

Age Requirements: Generally, applicants for the undergraduate program should not exceed 30 years old; applicants for the master's program should not exceed 35 years old.

（V）符合教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文件规定。

Comply with the regulations of Document No. 12 [2020] by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

四、申请时间 Application Duration

2025年12月1日至 2026年6月20日

From December 1, 2025 to June 20, 2026.

五、申请材料 Application Materials

（I）本科项目Undergraduate Program

1. 护照个人信息页，中国境内申请者提供居留许可页。Passport Personal Information Page. Applicants in China must provide the residence permit page.

2. 经公证的高中阶段成绩单和高中毕业证书（应届毕业生需提供预毕业证明），非中文或英文文本需附上经公证的中文或英文译文。Transcripts and Diplomas: Notarized high school transcripts and high school diploma (graduating students must provide a pre-graduation certificate). Documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.  

3. 语言水平证明材料（HSK证书等）。Proof of Language Proficiency: (HSK certificate, etc.).

4. 体检证明：缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。体格检查记录有效期6个月（模板详见附件2）。血液检测报告应包括HIV、V.D.R.L、HbsAg和HCV检测结果。 Physical Examination Certificate: The Foreigner Physical Examination Form is invalid if it has missing items, lacks a personal photo or a photo without a cross-page seal, or lacks the signature and seal of the physician and the hospital. The physical examination record is valid for 6 months (see Appendix 2 for the template). Blood test reports should include HIV, V.D.R.L, HbsAg, and HCV test results.

5. 无犯罪证明：有效期6个月。如果无法在申请阶段提供，可签署《无犯罪记录承诺书》作为代替文件（模板见附件3）。Non-Criminal Record Certificate: Valid for 6 months. If it cannot be provided at the application stage, a Commitment Letter of No Criminal Record can be signed as a substitute document (see Appendix 3 for the template).

6. 经济能力证明：非政府奖学金生需提交银行开具的申请人本人名下不少于3万元人民币或等额外币的存款证明。Proof of Financial Capability: Non-government scholarship students must submit a bank deposit certificate under the applicant's name with no less than 30,000 RMB or equivalent foreign currency.

7. 其他辅助证明材料（如获奖证书、推荐信等）。Others: Other supporting documents (such as award certificates, recommendation letters, etc.).

（II）硕士项目Master's Program

1. 护照个人信息页Passport Personal Information Page

护照有效期应晚于2026年9月，中国境内的申请者需提供居留许可页。

The passport validity period should be later than September of the enrollment year. Applicants in China must provide the residence permit page.

2. 经公证的学士学位证明Notarized Bachelor's Degree Certificate

非中文或英文本需附上经公证的中文或英文译文，应届毕业生需提供预毕业证明。应届毕业生须在报到时提交学士学位证书原件。

Documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations. Graduating students must provide a pre-graduation certificate. Graduating students must submit the original bachelor's degree certificate upon registration.

3. 学习成绩单Academic Transcripts

成绩单应包括完整的本科学习阶段，直至最近一学期的成绩。由就读学校教务处、研究生院或有关学生管理部门开具并盖章。非中英文本需附上经公证的中文或英文译文。

Transcripts should cover the complete undergraduate study stage up to the most recent semester's grades. It should be issued and stamped by the academic affairs office, graduate school, or relevant student management department of the attended university. Documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.

4. 导师接收意向函Supervisor Acceptance Intention Letter

申请者需先行联系导师进行考核，获得接收意向函（模板见附件4）.

Applicants need to contact a supervisor in advance for an assessment to obtain an acceptance intention letter (see Appendix 4 for the template).

5. 个人简历 Personal Resume

6. 与导师共同拟订的研究计划Research Plan

需用中文或英文书写，详细阐述拟在我校就读的专业或研究方向，研究计划需导师签字（模板见附件5）。

The research plan should be jointly formulated with the supervisor. It must be written in Chinese or English, detailing the intended major or research direction at our university, and the research plan must be signed by the supervisor (see Appendix 5 for the template).

7. 语言水平证明Proof of Language Proficiency

中文授课项目：HSK五级证书。

Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 certificate.

英文授课项目English-taught programs：

（1）托福或雅思或多邻国成绩单，原则上不低于托福70分、雅思5.5分或多邻国100分。TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo transcript, generally no less than TOEFL 70, IELTS 5.5, or Duolingo 100.

（2）上一阶段授课语言为英语的官方证明。Official proof that the language of instruction in the previous educational stage was English.

如无法提供以上证明的申请者，其语言水平可由导师和院系根据面试和笔试的具体情况决定。以英语为官方语言国家的申请者，免交英语语言水平证明。

For applicants who cannot provide the above proof, their language proficiency can be determined by the supervisor and the department based on the specific conditions of an interview and written test. Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from providing English proficiency proof. 

8. 两份专家推荐信Expert Recommendation Letters

需用中文或英文书写。内容包括申请人来华学习目标要求、对学生综合能力、未来发展的评价等（模板详见附件6）。

Two expert recommendation letters. Must be written in Chinese or English. The content should include the applicant's study objectives in China, an evaluation of the student's comprehensive abilities, and future development (see Appendix 6 for the template).

9. 体检证明Physical Examination Certificate

缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。体格检查记录有效期6个月（模板详见附件2）。血液检测报告应包括HIV、V.D.R.L、HbsAg和HCV检测结果。

Others: Other supporting documents (such as award certificates, etc.).

*注：1.申请材料不全，申请将不被受理。

  2.除上述材料外，我校可根据情况要求提供补充材料。

Note: 1. Incomplete application materials will not be accepted. 2.In addition to the above materials, our university may require supplementary materials depending on the situation.

六、申请流程 Application Process

（I）申请人根据学历层次专业目录，确定所学专业。

Applicants should determine their intended major according to the professional directory of the academic level.

（II）登录报名系统https://xhu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx在线填写个人信息及奖学金申请信息。

Log into the application system https://xhu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx to fill in personal information and scholarship application information online.

（III）在线提交申请材料。

Submit application materials online.

七、录取 Admission

材料初审合格的申请者均需参加线上面试。录取结果将公示于学校网站，并通过邮件通知被录取者。

All applicants who pass the initial review of materials must participate in an online interview. Admission results will be published on the university's website, and admitted candidates will be notified via email.

八、费用及奖学金 Fees and Scholarships

（1）保险费约1000元/年 Insurance fee: approx. 1,000 RMB/year

（2）居留许可400元/年 Residence permit: 400 RMB/year

（3）体检费约500元Physical examination fee: approx. 500 RMB

（4）书本费据实收取，约700元/年 Book fees are charged based on actual costs, approx. 700 RMB/year

（II）奖学金Scholarships

1. 政府奖学金 Government Scholarships

国际学生可申请四川省外国留学生政府奖学金（本科生2万元/年，硕士生2.5万元/年）、成都市国际友好城市留学生政府奖学金（本科生2万元/年，硕士生2.5万元/年）、成都市“一带一路”留学生政府奖学金等（本科生2万元/年，硕士生2.5万元/年）。

International students can apply for the Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students (20,000 RMB/year for undergraduates, 25,000 RMB/year for postgraduate students), Chengdu International Sister City Student Government Scholarship (20,000 RMB/year for undergraduates, 25,000 RMB/year for postgraduate students), and Chengdu Belt and Road Student Government Scholarship, etc. (20,000 RMB/year for undergraduates, 25,000 RMB/year for postgraduate students).

2. 学校奖助金

学校设立学校奖助金，已获政府奖学金者不再重复获得学校奖助金。申请者将根据评审结果获得相应等次奖助金。

The university has established university scholarships and grants. Those who have already obtained government scholarships will not receive university scholarships and grants.

奖学金生须参加年度评审，评审合格方可获得下一学年奖学金。

 Scholarship students must participate in an annual review, and only those who pass the review can obtain the scholarship for the next academic year.

九、签证申请及入学报到 Visa Application and Registration

被录取者须持普通护照、录取通知书、《外国留学人员来华确认表》、《外国人体格检查记录表》等材料前往中国驻外使（领）馆办理来华签证，持护照和X1签证入境，并于《录取通知书》中规定的时间到校办理入学报到手续。

Admitted candidates must bring their ordinary passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW201/JW202 form), Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and other materials to the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad to apply for a visa to China. They must enter the country with a passport and X1 visa, and report to the university to complete registration procedures at the time specified in the Admission Notice.
